Overcrowded prisons and jails cannot accommodate the high demand of space that is required to house criminal offenders. This burden placed on our judicial system and taxpayers can be partially alleviated through the use of electronic monitoring/Home confinement.
WHEN HOME CONFINEMENT MAY BE A GOOD ALTERNATIVE
- CASE TYPES:
- D.U.I.
- NO PROOF OF INSURANCE/HV
- DRIVING ON SUSPENDED LICENSE
- AS A CONDITION OF BOND
- CASES WHERE THE OFFENDER IS TERMINALLY ILL AND WOULD POSE A LIABILITY TO THE STATE IF INCARCERATED
- PROBATION VIOLATION
REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
- A RESIDENCE
- A WORKING TELEPHONE
- PAYMENT OF FEES
- WORK SCHEDULE.
- SIGNED AGREEMENT OF PROGRAM RULES AND CONDITIONS
LEE'S HOME CONFINEMENT SYSTEMS INC.
- Will appear in court to testify or to answer questions the court may have regarding the program.
- Will report to the court any violations of the offender.
